Dhoom 2: From D2 to R2D2

You've heard about it... you know it's there... you know it's all around you... but you can't see it...

Yup, to be sure 'crazy kiya re' is what aptly describes what the latest Bollywood release has done to its audiences-in-waiting.

You switch on the radio in the car in the morning and the whistle plays in your ears for the entire day (it's begun playing in your head, right now too, isn't it?). You swing by the malls and Hrithik's abs stare at you from across the road. You switch on the TV and Hrithik is gushing out of a bottle of Coke. You open the paper & Hrithik is pouting at you. You change the channel and you still don't notice Abhishek anywhere...

You read the review in the papers... you see an entire divorce proceeding (even before the marriage) over a kissing scene... you have heard of a friend's second cousin's girlfriend who has seen the movie & loved it... Dammit, you even see the accessories on sale (from chains to bandanas to jeans) at exorbitant prices.... but YOU can't seen IT!

The question is for how long will this 'Virtual Reality' experience of D2 continue before we get to have the 'Real Reality' (R2) ... Will D2 ever become R2D2?

'Don't touch me, Soniya'... you hear them sing. Don't worry Yashraj, doesn't seem like that's going to be too difficult… And if the song is 'Touch Me, Soniya' (can't really make out which one it is), then guys, release the god damn film!
